Bath & Kitchen Creations approaches each design as a unique
challenge. Variables such as available space, materials, lighting,
client desires, and budget are all evaluated to produce a
superior, and highly livable design. We work closely with each
client to determine his or her specific needs, and lend our expert
advice and years of experience to help create the ideal design.
Since we are a family owned company, you can rest assured that our
team will be available every step of the way to address your
concerns and ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end
result.
Project Outline
Most projects begin with the desire for a more updated look or
often as a result of malfunctioning appliances or leaky plumbing.
During the initial consultation, our designers will begin
discussions about your project, your goals, and your budget. They
will explain the options most feasible for your project, as well
as make recommendations based on years of experience in kitchen
and bath layout. If there are significant structural, plumbing, or
other issues that must be addressed they may be discussed at this
time. Overall dimensions will be measured on-site, and the
underlying sub-structures (framing, sub-floor, plumbing,
electrical, etc.) will be inspected for soundness whenever
possible.
Design and Estimate
We maintain a firm commitment to excellence in design for our
clients. An estimate/design agreement enables the designer to
devote the necessary time to research and develop a detailed plan
for your new kitchen and/or bath. The retainer for this agreement
enables the designer and draftsman to layout a plan to remodel
your space and to produce detailed floor plans, conceptual
drawings and elevations. Materials will be specified and a
complete job estimate will be created.
Design and Agreement Signing
After the completed design and estimate are approved by the
client, an agreement detailing all costs, along with start and
completion date, etc. will be presented to the client for
signature. Once the deposit is received, orders are placed for
cabinetry, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, tile etc. In the event
the client requests a change during the project, a change-order
addendum will be issued and signed, to insure that the client's
wishes are met.
Design Selections
For large and small projects alike, we encourage clients to make
an appointment to visit our Dulles Virginia selection center. Our
selection center contains several displays showcasing various
cabinet styles, stain colors, flooring, counter surfaces and
finishing options. Hundreds of samples centralized in one location
allow clients to make side-by-side color and finish comparisons
for their final design choices.
Work Begins
Most remodeling projects begin with the demolition of the existing
space. We realize that this process can be very disruptive to busy
households and we make every effort to minimize the impact the
project will have on a "working" home. We do our best to
accommodate your needs and schedule, as well as maintain a clean
and safe work site. Depending on the scope of work being done,
construction may last from one day to several weeks. We strive to
schedule all projects for the smoothest completion to avoid
scheduling conflicts between various parties and to maintain
timely completion of the project.
Warranty and Support
Upon job completion, we are always available for support,
questions, or any concerns you may have. Our installation work is
guaranteed and our ultimate goal is your complete satisfaction. |
