Certifications

Certifications are an important benchmark that should be carefully considered in an industry scattered with poorly skilled "pros", and unscrupulous "handy" man operations.  Proper industry certifications are crucial in hiring a trained and experienced firm to design, install, and guarantee your project.  Remodeling projects can be filled with pit-falls and unexpected surprises, and require coordinating many specialty trades at once.  Selecting a certified professional is your best way to avoid surprises and achieve excellent results on time, and on budget.

Why choose a certified professional?

  • Reputation, quality, and service are proven and reliable
  • Proper skills and tools to design, install, and service your remodeling project
  • Licensed and Insured
  • Warranty on quality workmanship
  • Long industry experience, and knowledge to solve inevitable project glitches
  • Continuously educated on latest industry trends, techniques, and materials

The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is the predominant industry authority in all aspects of kitchen and bath design.  The NKBA certifies professional designers only after a rigorous testing and evaluation process, and after many years of industry experience have been proven.

After achieving his CBD (Certified Bath Designer) credentials in 1991, and his CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) in 1993, Bob was recently accredited as one of the first designers in the Washington/Baltimore area to achieve CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer) status.
